What is DIREKT?
DIREKT is a company offering fine-art photographic documentation, installation, packing and related services. We’re experienced specialists and our aim is to address your project’s needs efficiently.
What if my project doesn’t fit neatly into these categories?
We’ll do our best to provide services that address your needs as long as they fall within our areas of experience. Let us know what you’re thinking and we’ll see if we can help.
How do DIREKT’s rates work?
In most cases, DIREKT will bill for the time that it takes to complete our services. Usually this will fall into a half-day rate ($550) or a full-day rate ($1,050) per staff member. It all depends on the scale of the project. However, there are exceptions. Get a quote on your specific project here.
Does DIREKT work outside of NY, NJ, and CT?
Yes. Travel time and other related elements will be factored in to the quote we provide.
Is DIREKT insured?
Yes. DIREKT will provide a certificate of insurance (COI) upon request.
If I’d like my artwork documented, how does that work?
Whenever possible, we will document the work on site. We will bring all the necessary photographic and lighting equipment. This usually involves some handling of the work, so we will assess how many people are necessary to be on site and how long it will take to move artwork. After the artwork has been photographed, we’ll make all necessary post-production adjustments to the files and will provide you high-resolution .tifs.
If travel is involved, is there a fuel surcharge?
No. Fuel costs will be included in your quoted rate.
Will you deal with heavy sculptures?
In most cases, yes. But we need to be provided accurate dimensions and weight so that we’re prepared.
